Author Topic: Minimum viable product for heat Launch  (Read 441 times)

Hi,

Just an statement from all the heat that Heat is getting on the forums for not meeting deadlines. Perhaps there should be a refocus on the priority of features at launch.

If Heat can be launched with the minimum features (say without the microservices) perhaps that would help bring it on the map. The features can then come with more releases which would give the market some room for speculation.

Just my two cents,
All the best to the heat team.

Thanks for your 2 cents, nice thinking :)

We've already quite long ago re-prioritized to the bare minimum needed for release, keeping in mind that successful release needs the following sub-parts:

- token transfer (obviously)
- Bitcoin/HEAT exchange - requires both A2AE and gateway microservice

As HEAT isn't traded on any major exchanges, and we know how stuff just goes down the drain if it's not liquid, we try all we can to provide a direct, semi-decentralized gateway for trading.

It's an amok run between the time limits imposed by the audience's patience running out, our partnership arrangements failing for delay, and the minimum tech we need to just function before a system can be put out. Pace  for completion however is now looking stable.

Don't doubt you for a second. A monumental task indeed.  I do hope you guys focus on managing the heat community, Apart from the Tech, community expectations and management seem to be key in the crypto world.

All the best and thank you for the reply. Watching closely from the sidelines like everyone else.
