General HEAT Discussion / Re: I DON'T SEE MY BTC
« on: January 12, 2018, 03:46:13 PM »
Hi, did you now got the btc in your wallet? Just out of curiosity!

Hi guys, what's the current status. Did you get the BTC? The HEAT chain/network is quite stable at the moment, would not expect that many issues actually!

HEAT Server issues / Re: HEAT API Function Missing

Hi Svante, out of curiosity: Is this API call still considered? Or would it better anyway to use microservices once released to set-up an automated pool?

You can share your account ID in the trollbox in the heat exchange and someone will help you out for sure. The fee is there for a reason, everyone who deposit btc on a new account should receive 0.05 heat for trading.

Hi Colin, there are some irregularities with heatwallet in the past few days, combined with some forks. These forks have been solved now, but heatwallet is still undergoing an update. Once updated, the order book should be fixed again, and the explorer should show up clearly. You can check back again once the wallet is up again to see whether your trade did push through. Hope this helps!

I am sorry to inform you that this is fake, one weird community member of the old days (who left thereafter), thought it was a nice idea to fool the system... Hence the warning also to take caution in uncertified markets!

Guess I was the one helping you out as well via the trollbox, nice coincidence! Glad you can continue!

You need hear for every transaction in the wallet, 0.01 heat is the fee per action. You can ask for a minor deposit on the trollbox with your acc number.

Never sell ALL your heat.

Thank you VonGraff. That helped. It was offpage. Maybe we should make it more visible?

Great that this helped! I understood that it is on the list of things to do for the devs, with not the highest priority (basically showing all your pending orders in one go).

In the exchange tab in heatwallet you will see a box in the bottom-right corner, called "my pending orders". There should be a button over there to cancel your outstanding order. Note that this is not overlooking all assets I though (yet), so you will have to go to the market in which you wanted to cancel the order (such as BTC/HEAT). Does that help?

General HEAT Discussion / Re: Cannot Sign In / Telling me "wrong pin code"
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:58:24 PM »
Are you sure that you are using the same browser or app which you have used for the previous log-in?

Can you check whether the account number which is shown at the screen where you want the put in the pin is the correct account?

HEAT Wallet discussion / Re: Can't log in to my heatwallet account
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:56:34 PM »
You cannot reset your phrase, if you know parts of the phrase still you could try to bruteforce the pass somewhere.
Note that the pin is only fixing your account to the used browser or app, if you enter the passphrase on another location (like another browser), you can use a different pin if you want, so it is the passphrase you will need to remember first and foremost!

If you are using the same browser as before, then the pass is kept somewhere safely until you clear the browser cache, and that is where the pin comes in.

Did you already fund your account? If not, then just go ahead and create a new one. If you did, I do hope that you can still go to the browser/app with which you've made the account and try out whatever pin you can think of to log back in.

Good luck, hoping your are able to retreive the info!

For checking the errors in running heatledger.bat, you can also run the command from cmd.exe, after you navigated to the heatledger 2.2.0 folder. Node that you have to run the command from the root folder, with bin\heatledger.bat.

For the issue shown below, are you sure that you installed JDK correctly? That's all I can think of with the shown issues.

HEAT Server issues / Re: Stuck BTC withdrawal
« on: December 03, 2017, 08:29:21 PM »
The transaction you are referring to does not exist if I search for it on heatwallet. This could happen since it was done yesterday (December 2), when there was a minor issue on the blockchain (rounding off issue for a single transaction) which impacted the chain. This has been solved rather quickly by the devs. You could try withdrawing the BTC again.

I expect that this was caused by the issues which were happening throughout the full day of December 2. In the evening the devs released a new server version which fixed a minor issue screwing up the transactions on the chain. Can you check again whether there are still issues now?
