It does make getting an accurate comparision of TPS hard to come by.
Indeed. However this comparison job is meant to benefit HEAT, so we stick to proven or reasonably possible rates for the competitors, not what they in theory claim to aim for :)

I'll do the research for the missing Blockchain sizes, growth rates and available supplies now.
Just so we dont do anything twice :)
Great. Welcome to the HEAT community!

I contacted the one of the team of steem and he told me some good data about the steem I will change it again the steem data in the spreadsheet.

Steem

Consensus mechanism : pow/dpos
Blockchain size : 5596 mb

since iam lacking time right now i could only provide 3 more numbers (including links) for now.
ill be able to put in more time at night.

I see someone has put in the 1-30 sec block times for waves. Is the 1 sec. block time live yet? I only see it as something they are working on.

Q: How long will transactions take?
A: In main net 1.0 ~ 30 sec. after that there’ll be a fork, the transactions time will lie in 1 sec range. don’t want to have it at launch, first the focus is on custom tokens, decentralized trading etc. for 1 sec tx’s some new POS is going to be implemented, LPOS, where lite node choose a full node to lease their balance to, they still receive the rewards, but the transactions become much faster due to the fact that only full nodes process them effectively

Okay. It was just that I found somewhere that said it was 10-30 sec. mow and then 1 sec after the fork.

Your wrong I contacted the waves team via their slack page. And they told to me the the actual block target time of waves is 1 minute. And thiers no actual tps of waves but they can transact about 100 per block time.Lastly the waves blockchain size  the toatal of 1 gb  but they have no record of the growth rate of their waves blockchain because they didn't complete yet  the implementation of the Rollerchain so they hard to determine it.

I edit again the chart for correction and adding data about waves.

I thought that we had an official coin logo? Why does the spreadsheet still have the old coin logo (which looks like it comes from the eighties)

Why does the spreadsheet still have the old coin logo
Because you nor anyone else didn't change it in the freely editable document :)

Document formatting was updated by a friendly member, here's the link again for the document we're working on

If someone would be nice enough to transfer the logos as well from this draft document, it'd be appreciated - can't get my head over how to handle gfx in Google sheets:

Like the bitshares have no data in their blockchain size. But im still contacted them to get some data about that.

If finish to filling the data in comparison chart I will make some revision on the design of the spreadsheet in excel and image file format.

I just contact the developers and the team of bitshares two days ago and now they give the the data about the bitshares blockchain size, growth rate of the their blockchain and the actual tps that they didn't know for now but they assume it is a 100000 tps.But the test net of bitshares can process over 3600 tps.

I fill the data about bitshares in the chart.

The job has been preliminarily completed. All participants please send me by PM a wrapup of how you contributed and how much BTC we owe you. Also pointing out any errors is appreciated. Thank you!  :)
