Looks nice :)

One comment though about the design: On the default forum link, it shows the top banner with the heat logo which looks great...Then below, it shows alot of blank space and to the right it shows the user icon/information/actions.

It would probably be better if it could be integrated together into one banner, rather than 1 for the title, and 1 big one with empty space with the name and profile links on the right hand side.

Or. make the profile image much smaller, and have the links going horizontally instead of vertically, that might work instead.

Just some thoughts.

PS: Small reminder, it would be good to update the favicon image to the new logo ;)

We've now completed basic AE testing and are now proceeding with the AE UI and implementation of the BTC gateway. The current testnet will likely be scrapped without much further warning within the coming week (as notified in the welcome message of every new account) so please save any important data you have there such as private messages.

The complexity of the BTC gateway and how quickly we're able to implement that, and to what extent, defines the exact launch date this month. We're aware of the pressure to launch ASAP. The building blocks that are the very core of HEAT need to be in place for successful launch, in order to provide the needed liquidity for trading. Hang on! :)

For the average user, does anyone need to do anything special for this transition?
Other than if they want to back up personal messages?

General HEAT Discussion / Re: HEAT Logo / Symbol advisory poll

I would be happy with either 1,3, or 6.

I think 4,5 are too complex from a bit of a background in design, and 2 is nice but maybe a little too edgy.

I think the colours make a big difference. I have confidence we will make a good advisory decision. Although like addressed before, newbie accounts coming up just to vote could be pushing different motives with sockpuppets (no way of knowing 100% *speculation*). Could be legit users registering on forum though, since this thread was posted on bitcointalk.

Personally I would prefer 3. for the coin.
Its clean, simple and easy to recognise. Looking for mass appeal, I think it the best

For the company I would choose 6.
It does have a bit more of a skyscraper and suits feel.

1. is decent but a bit too plain for my taste.

The remaining 3 have too much going on IMO.

I think 3 is a good one for the coin, agreed: Simple, Clean, and friendliest for a mass audience!
I voted also for 1, since I like the h for a company brand. 6 would have been my 3rd choice and for the company.

I suppose we're talking about the downloadable installation where the error happens?

The web site https://alpha.heatledger.com should work while the downloadable necessarily doesn't until a patch is uploaded.

Yes this error is probably due to the recent commit change, so I'm not surprised the "release" local client does not connect properly right now. It might be nice if verymuchso can push a fixed release with the changes so people can do a last minute local verification / confirm ownership of ICO address before the big genesis. Just a thought, in case others want to do verification locally instead of the web alpha wallet.

I would personally feel more comfortable entering my seed into a local client rather than a web based one.

Just tried to open the last HEAT wallet release.

Tried to enter my PIN, and click 'sign in', and it failed:
Error: Internal timeout

I checked the console tools and saw:
WebSocket connection to 'wss://zombies.mofowallet.org:8884/ws/' failed: WebSocket opening handshake was canceled

I think this is related to the recent commit on github:
-    this.settings[SettingsService.WEBSOCKET_URL] = 'wss://zombies.mofowallet.org:8884/ws/';
+    this.settings[SettingsService.WEBSOCKET_URL] = 'wss://alpha.heatledger.com:8884/ws/';

So I think the v0.1.1 release is now not functional because of this change.

Just thought I would report this.
