Symbol contest [closed]

We will soon have an open symbol contest for the HEAT logo / symbol running on this forum. The current  "III coin"symbol that stands on top of this forum now and also on the alpha wallet app of HEAT UI, is courtesy of Kalipo - thank you for that!

The symbol contest will feature some draft sketch which can be touched upon (including the III coin) and of course new logos / symbols are welcome. Expect more details within the next week or so!

Cool, looking forward to this. Just a general observation (I have done some logos, Ardor for example is my original idea) keep it simple graphic-wise. Coinmarketcap symbols are 16x16 pixels in size and it has to work on thas size too.

Also, there is a distinct difference between a plain good logo and on the other hand nice graphics with cool background images, and this is about a logo.

I would suggest some guidelines how to present the proposals so that they are easily comparable between each other, like maybe a png format with transparent background, 16x16 pix and 300x300 pix sizes, for example. If all proposals are equal that way it is easier to judge the actual graphic quality of the designs.

Good ideas. Standardized format will be preferred, yes.

What we're after is a symbol with "coin" or "badge" style design drafts such as the less professional one now on this forum. The symbol would depict at least the HEAT token and public ledger, and could - but not necessarily - be the brand logo for the Heat Ledger Ltd company.

Will it be strictly restricted to a round coin shape?

Also tbh this whole forum could use a facelift. There are good designs technologies and designers available and HEAT has the btc. Just hire someone professionally skilled to work on your public image. Unprofessional dated looks will simply scare some newcomers out.
